Scholarships

One of the goals of The 100 Club of Solano & Yolo Counties is to help guide and mentor young men and women and support them in their efforts to become good citizens who value education and civic responsibility. Our goal is to help them to reach their potential and encourage a life of public service.

In 2021, The 100 Club of Solano and Yolo Counties gave scholarship funds in the amount of $2,000 to Nia T. Congratulations, Nia, on your many accomplishments!

The 100 Club gave out a second $2,000 scholarship in 2021 to Arianna H. Arianna plans to attend Sacramento State in fall. Congratulations, Arianna!

Additionally in 2021, The 100 Club awarded a third $2,000 scholarship to Teigen J. Teigen is attending Tulane University in New Orleans and plans to become a physician. Read Teigen’s essay here.

In 2020, The 100 Club of Solano & Yolo Counties gave scholarship funds in the amount of $1,750 to Haika M., who will be attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas. You can read Haika’s essay here. Join us in congratulating this fine young woman on her accomplishments and goals for the future!

The 100 Club gave out a second $1,750 scholarship in 2020 to George B., a second worthy student from the Public Safety Academy in Fairfield. You can read George’s essay here. Congratulations on your many accomplishments, George!

In addition to the two above scholarships, the 100 Club donated $1,500 to the Yolo County Retired Peace Officers Association’s scholarship program, and through that program, the YCRPOA awarded the money to Molly, a graduate of Winters High School. Congratulations, Molly!
