President John F. Kennedy signed a Proclamation in 1962 designating May 15th as Peace Officer Memorial Day, which falls within Police Week.
Last Wednesday, May 15, 2024, law enforcement agencies of Solano County stood together at the Wall of Honor to remember the agents, deputies, and officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice while keeping our communities safe.
Police Week has passed, but we must never forget those who have given their lives in the line of duty.
